Students from all schools
communicated and exchanged ideas for using the history records that came up
during their research so as to write, in common, a fictious story based on real
facts.
First Part
First of all they had to choose
their heroes. Even though the first thought was to choose one common hero that
would travel to all the countries that participated in the project and would
study the history of each place, after further discussion and exhange of ideas
among students and teachers, eventually three common heroes were chosen that
were suggested by two different countries (Greece and Turkey).
Second Part
Then Students of Nea Karya Primary School, using the brainwriting method and working in groups, set the individual characteristics of each hero and started the common story by writing a part of it.
Finally the other schools completed the story by adding chapers before and after the part written by Nea Karya Primary School.
Even though the Turkish Schools did not participate in the writing process of the story, their contribution in the first part of choosing the heroes was important.
