Students of Nea Karya Primary School used "Role Playing" to study history. They tried to revive an imaginary conversation that may have happened among the local people when their village was destroyed by Nestos River flood . They were divided in three groups. The group on the right represents the people that wanted to leave. The group on the left represents the ones that wanted to stay. While the group in the middle represents the local council that had to make the decision.
"The young time travelers of history” is an eTwinning project in which students handle local history issues with an alternative and creative way, such as using cooperative creative writing, cooperative drawing, brainstorming, brainwriting, "the six hats of thinking", role playing etc.The final product is a fictious story based on historical events written by all partner schools in common.
